The Opportunity

We are seeking an educator who can create engaging and challenging learning experiences for students in Years 8-10, helping them develop confidence and proficiency in German while fostering an appreciation of German-speaking cultures.

You will be someone who:

  • Brings expertise and enthusiasm to the teaching of German
  • Creates classrooms characterised by curiosity, communication, and active learning
  • Understands how girls learn and builds strong, positive relationships with students
  • Uses evidence-informed practices to maximise student growth and achievement
  • Supports students in developing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
  • Values collaboration and contributes positively to the wider life of the School

Native or near-native proficiency in German and experience teaching secondary German language courses are highly desirable.
