The Opportunity
We are seeking an educator who can create engaging and challenging learning experiences for students in Years 8-10, helping them develop confidence and proficiency in German while fostering an appreciation of German-speaking cultures.
You will be someone who:
- Brings expertise and enthusiasm to the teaching of German
- Creates classrooms characterised by curiosity, communication, and active learning
- Understands how girls learn and builds strong, positive relationships with students
- Uses evidence-informed practices to maximise student growth and achievement
- Supports students in developing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Values collaboration and contributes positively to the wider life of the School
Native or near-native proficiency in German and experience teaching secondary German language courses are highly desirable.
